Speed, Strength & Conditioning
| Anatomical Adaption Phase |
Author: Coach Aaron (---.perfora.net)

Today is the start of my third week doing the anatomical adaption phase listed below. For a refresher, the anatomical adaption phase (sometimes referred to as a base phase), is used to build baseline conditioning to be in shape enough to "really train" in the phases that follow. This phase is a segment of my offseason program that is in the Western Periodization format. I didn't post this until my third week as I wanted to work out a few of the bugs in the program before I posted it up; I have made several changes from the first 2 weeks.
I'll be doing this program for a total 5 weeks. At week 6 I will do a recovery week that will include a couple of body weight type workouts, very light. Week 7 will be the begining of a 5 week hypertrophy phase that will be HIT style.
Any comments, questions, and feedback welcome . . . check it out in the training forum:
